Debit Card Management
The Debit Card feature allows merchants to securely save and manage customer debit cards for future escrow payments. This feature is optional and only takes effect when explicitly enabled by the merchant from the Configuration section of their dashboard.
When enabled, customers who complete escrow payments using the Payluk Inline Checkout SDK can have their debit cards securely tokenized and saved for reuse. This enables faster, frictionless payments without requiring customers to re-enter their card details.
Note: Card details are never stored or processed by the merchant. All card data is securely tokenized and managed by Payluk in a PCI-compliant environment.
How Debit Card Saving Works
- The merchant enables Debit Card Saving in the Configuration section of their dashboard
- The merchant integrates the Payluk Inline Checkout JS SDK
- A customer completes an escrow payment using a debit card
- Payluk securely tokenizes and saves the card for that customer
- The saved card can be reused for future escrow payments
If the feature is disabled, debit cards will not be saved after checkout.
Security & Compliance
- Debit cards are tokenized using PCI-compliant standards
- Merchants never have access to raw card details
- Saved cards can only be used for authorized escrow payments
- Customers may remove saved cards at any time
Debit Card Management Endpoints
Merchants can manage saved debit cards using the following endpoints:

Usage Notes
- Saved debit cards are customer-specific
- A card can only be deleted by an authorized merchant or customer
- Deleted cards cannot be reused for future payments
- Card saving applies only to escrow payments made via the Inline Checkout SDK
